MUMBAI: Godrej L’Affaire, a curated experiential luxury lifestyle platform by Godrej Industries Limited and Associate Companies, concluded its sixth edition with a spectacular showcase of ‘All Things Goodness’. With more than 1,500 people including several prominent personalities attending Godrej L’Affaire 2024, more than 50 brands came together to create memorable experiences.

Presented by HSBC India, the Godrej L’Affaire’s three-pronged mission of crafting hyper-immersive experiences, building a community of lifestyle enthusiasts, and weaving a robust digital safety net for all the participating brands surpassed expectations, offering attendees a truly unforgettable experience.

From the moment guests stepped through the beautiful arch gate, the essence of ‘Goodness of Lifestyle’ enveloped them, symbolizing a holistic approach to living. The event was meticulously mapped across eight zones, each representing a facet of L’Affaire – Lifestyle, Awareness, Fashion, Flavour, Artistry, Innovation, Rejuvenation, and Environment — and offered a journey of discovery and delight.

Attendees were treated to a virtual walkthrough of the event beforehand, courtesy of a distinctive microsite, providing insights into the goodness factor and a glimpse of what awaited them. The microsite, which went live 4-5 days before the event, served as a prelude to the immersive experience that awaited guests.

The evening’s highlight was an exclusive fashion show by Malaika Arora, showcasing her flagship brand – The Label Life. Marking a smashing debut for the brand’s collection on the runway, Malaika showcased Spring Summer 2024 collection centered around iconic Picnic, Party, Home, and Office looks. Attendees were also treated to an electric performance by the band – The Bartender, the brainchild of Mikey McCleary – award-winning songwriter, composer, and producer. Featuring Shalmali Kolghade, Medha Sahi, and Kaprila Keishing, their eclectic mix of music sensibilities set the tone for an evening of entertainment and enlightenment.

Food enthusiasts were delighted with the unveiling of the 7th edition of the Godrej Food Trends Report (GFTR), exploring the theme of “Provenance,” shedding light on Indian cuisine and its origins, exploring the intrinsic link between ingredients, regional specialties, and traditional practices. With insights from over 190 experts, including chefs, bloggers, and food producers, GFTR 2024 sheds light on the rich tapestry of India’s culinary heritage.

The evening also witnessed the felicitation of the top 25 content creators chosen through the premier influencer hunt Godrej L’Affaire Select. This program scouted a pool of over 10,000 participants spanning 200 cities, towns, and villages across India. CREDAI To Impart Skill-Based Training To Future Engineers

PUNE: In an endeavor to create skilled Civil Engineers, CREDAI Pune Metro signed an MoU with Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) Pune. To make them industry-ready, CREDAI will be working towards imparting the students with skill-based practical and on-site training.  The MOU was signed by Ranjit Naiknavare – President of CREDAI Pune Metro and Bharat Agarwal- Managing Trustee of VIIT Pune at CREDAI Pune Metro office, Nucleus Mall, Camp, Pune. The initiative is jointly undertaken by CREDAI Pune Metro, the Team of CREDAI Kushal, led by Kapil Trimal.

Speaking during the signing of the MOU, Ranjit Naiknavare said, ” The real estate sector in Pune has been on the rise for the last few years and we see the trend continuing for years to come. To be able to cater to this rise, we need skilled industry-ready engineers. Pune produces several Civil Engineers however, they are not well versed with the practical skills required to work on a project site, despite some of them undertaking internships.

To bridge this industry-academia gap, we have created this unique upskilling program to provide the Civil Engineering students of VIIT-Pune a 360-degree comprehensive training program aimed at providing practical skills required for on-the-job implementation. We are glad to have signed an MOU to this effect with a prestigious institute like VIIT Pune.”

Under the MOU, civil engineering students will be able to get hands-on training from the first year of the degree. The training program can be completed by students in 5 semesters. It will involve 200 hours of onsite training wherein CREDAI team members will impart comprehensive knowledge covering all practical aspects of working on a construction site.” he added further.

NEW DELHI: On the evening of Monday 15 April, with a private event attended by over 300 people, Ducati inaugurated its participation in the 2024 edition of the Milan Design Week, the most important moment of the year for the world of design at an international level.

The Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer fits perfectly into the context of the Fuorisalone with the exhibition “Forma – Feelings designed by Ducati in Borgo Panigale”, set up in a place in line with the values of the brand, the Leonardo da Vinci National Science and Technology Museum. The exhibition was created to accompany visitors in the discovery of the design process through which all Ducati motorcycles are created: a magical combination of beauty and high-end technology, performance and emotions, in which form and function work in symbiosis.

Andrea Ferraresi, Director of Strategy & Centro Stile Ducati: “In Ducati, we consider style and love for beauty as fundamental elements to create emotions and experiences capable of going beyond the pleasure of riding. Our “Reduce to the Max” design vision provides a symbiotic integration between form and function, in which each element is essential and the superfluous has no space. To bring our style principles to Milan Design Week is perfectly aligned with our Company strategy and gives further value to our approach to design.

The exhibition “Forma – Feelings designed by Ducati in Borgo Panigale” is structured through a journey in seven stages, which represent the fundamental steps using which the designers of the Centro Stile Ducati and the engineers of the R&D department transform the idea of a motorcycle into a true work of art. The Ducati model used to describe this process is the supersports bike par excellence in the Borgo Panigale range: the Panigale V4.

The immersive itinerary of the exhibition opens with a space dedicated to the “Brief”, the document that provides the designers with the general guidelines with which to begin the stylistic creation of each motorcycle. The following “Analysis & Concepts” phase is a flow of research in which the designer’s thoughts range between art, music, places, colors, and shapes, composing a mood board from which the personality and character of each new Ducati model are born. The third step of the exhibition is dedicated to the “Sketches “, how the Ducati designers put all their ideas on paper. The most effective proposals are then materialized in 3D CAD models which allow the creation of the first physical models, the so-called “Proportion Models”, from which the best solution is selected. Having reached this point, the next three steps lead to the actual birth of a new Ducati motorcycle, through the “Clay Model”, a 1:1 scale model refined by hand like a real sculpture using highly mouldable synthetic clay, the “Master Model”, a resin model that allows you to perfectly highlight the lines and surfaces and evaluate any refinements, to then arrive at the “Clinic Model”, which is a faithful representation of the final product (painting included) as well as the final step before going into production.

The narrative of this process in seven stages within “Forma – Feelings designed by Ducati in Borgo Panigale” is constructed in such a way as to be fascinating and involving. It allows the public to access never-before-seen content made available by the Centro Stile Ducati and speak directly with the designers present. Furthermore, at the exit of the exhibition, visitors will be able to enjoy a display with six motorcycles from the Panigale family: Panigale V4 Bautista 2023 World Champion Replica, Panigale V4 Bezzecchi 2023 Racing Replica, Panigale V4 SP2, Panigale V4 R and Panigale V2, as well as a Panigale V4 S with which to experience the thrill of stepping onto a Ducati.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 16 to 21 April at the following times: Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 April from 10.00 to 20.00, Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April from 10.00 to 21.00. The entrance to the area of the Leonardo da Vinci National Science and Technology Museum dedicated to the exhibition is in Via Olona, 6 bis.

He added that the company has launched in the domestic market 2 HP Single Phase Open Well Submersible and 1 HP, 1.5 HP, and 2 HP three phase open well submersible pumps as well as 1 HP, 1.5 HP, and 2 HP three phase centrifugal monoblock pumps. These pumps are used in water fountains, watering gardens, and filling water for home use.

Deputy manager Mr Shrikant Madekar gave information about the company’s products. At the conference 10 dealers received appreciation and they were felicitated by the senior management of the company.
